When I started Burger King 23 years ago, I had little children. There were times I had to have my manager adjust my schedule because I needed to do things for my kids. They always worked with me and were kind and patient. Sometimes my manager would even call me to see how my children were doing if they were sick. MIC supports and appreciates its employees. This is the last job I will probably ever have and I couldn’t have worked for a better company.

I enjoy working for MIC-Burger King because there are many challenging opportunities and possibilities for advancement. I have been here for five years and feel MIC is always fair with their practices and really believes in developing people.

My name is Emmett Forte and I have been employed with M.I.C. for the past 19 years. I started off as a Restaurant Manager before assuming the role of District Manager. I enjoy the people that I work with everyday. My role is extra special because not only do I work with the best restaurant managers, I am also the District Coach for 6 of the top performing restaurants within the organization. I pride myself on doing the best work possible to achieve the goals set by the company. MIC is one of the most caring companies that I have worked for. They support you thru all type of situations, on and off the clock. They go out of their way to show you kindness and consideration in the midst of any storm. MIC will surely become one of the major players in the fast food industry in the Mid-South.

As receptionist at MIC, I have had many great opportunities to meet and talk with not only new crew members coming in for the first time, but also the ones that have been working here for years. I have only been working here for two years, but I wish my career had started here twenty-five years ago. The management is the best and anyone wanting to learn and grow with a great business should start with MIC.

I have been with MIC for three years. I have really enjoyed my job. I like the challenge it puts forth – especially when we meet our goals! Everyone is helpful to me. There is always a support or operations person who willingly helps me through any problem or question.
